Hi Scott,
Well I finally got to read the article in the Blood & Thunder and was very honored to have a part of being involved with many of the roller gals who have taken an interest in learning about the past of the 30'40'& 50's of the original Roller Derby Past.
There is lots of history in the name of Roller Derby, during the years of the 60'70'& some of the 80's.That also should be remember as some of the great skaters of the history of roller derby, for another generation of fans as it also was for the fans of the earlier days.

Now it seems like the name of Derby is again making another generation of history for a new group of fans
We the old timers of the past want is for the world of derby to be respected again as a great sport and not another three ring circus.
Again this is Loretta 'Little Iodine' Behrens
Who never claimed to be a star player, but a one who made stars & was a team player for all my teams.

Hi Scott, thanks for the comment! I think some of our best games were against the Quakes. They had some awesome athletes and were fun to work with. Did you ever get to go to a taping?
