Hi Murry thanks for adding me as a friend, We are a old group of skaters who skated with all the great stars of roller game back in the late 60s-70s and went over to the states as the Australian Kangaroos in the early 1971-1972. We still meet as a group about every 6 weeks or so we are always looking for old photos or the elusive video they just dont seem to be any so if you ever see one we would love to see it. At the present we are trying to build a banked track and bring back roller games to Australia as we feel the time is right. love to hear back from you on any of these matters or just to talk to me . All the best BOB RELPH roller games for ever.

Hi Cory,
I was talking about Roller Games of the 60's and 70's with the 'Australian T-Birds', Texas Outlaws, San Francisco Shamrocks, New York Bombers, Hawaiian Warriors and Chicago Hawks. It was televised on Australian TV up untill the early 70's and though I knew Roller Games continued in the U.S., we didn't see any more of it here.

G'Day Murray,

How are you? I would lilove to accept you as a friend. =) I hope you and your family had a nice Valtentine's day as well.
BTW, how far are you from the Australia Zoo? Have you ever been there?
I'm also a big T-Bird fan. I discovered them in 1989 when the show RollerGames came on and I've been a Roller derby fan ever since. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the show will come back. and my favorite friends and new friends will be dazzling us once again.
Have a good one.
Stay Cool,
Amy

Hi JIm. Thanks for the message. I am also looking forward very much to Roller Games' return to Australia. My first time seeing them in action was in about 1967, and I was lucky enough to not only see Ralphie Valladares and Ann Calvello in action, but I got to meet Ralphie. I was 9 years of age and it was the most exciting day of my life. Sadly the venue, Festival Hall in Brisbane has since been replaced by an apartment complex, but the foyer features a tribute wall of photos of those who performed there - everyone from The Beatles to Billy Joel, AND there are several photos of Roller Games' stars. I go in there all the time. When the games return, you will have a choice of 2 great venues: Brisbane Entertainment Centre or Brisbane Convention Centre. I'll be there. Let's make it soon!

Hi Murray,
Great to have you aboard! I have skated all over the US, Argentina and Japan! Another goal of mine is to bring Roller Derby back to Australia. One day I hope! Ann Calvello skated there back in the mid 1960's and loved it!

Best wishes,
Jim
