Us poor folk on the east coast don't really hear too much about these teams....or I' live in a cocooon. This site is really opening my eyes! That was a great clip.

Hi Mark. Thank your for the compliments. I really appreciate it. I have skated all of my life and consider what I do my love and ART. Rollerjam was a great way of letting others see what I'm passionate about as well as a perfect opportunity to put my skills into action and as a way of challenging myself. There are only a handful that actually continue to skate. Others have moved on with their lives and families. Rollerjam was definitely a great life experience and for me was another stepping stone in building my skating career, especially more as coach nowadays.

Thanks for the comment, I wish there were more people on here that lived around my way but I guess they just don't know about this site. I started roller skating again after maybe 15 or so years of being inactive. I've been ice skating for about as long as when I learned to roller skate but done that more since I used to live in Michigan for awhile a few years back. Though now I got a brand new pair of skates and pads and slowly coming back.

I'm sorry you did not get to skate. Just in case you feel the dream one day, there are FREE banked track clinics open in the California areas (SF area for winter).

I also had that desire but was able, after years of effort, to get on the teams for 14 years. I was never the popular skater, just one of the guys.
