About Me:

I love roller skating. A friend and myself used to watch it at night and we would scream for hours. I used to skate every day when I was growing up, and I really enjoyed it. I would have never been in the Derby. I loved The manager as much as the team. Now I am not active, I have trouble walking very far. I actually moved to Los Angeles for about 25 years and I had in my mind to meet the team and manager. Now I moved back to Michigan and I regret not meeting them. I felt a part of the derby and I probably will not get the chance again. I would like to know if they still skate and will I be able to view them skating.

The thing I remember most about RollerGames/RollerDerby is:

The action !! The bombers were such bad people. I would love to relive those days. I'm 65 and my friend is 67 and we still talk about the derby like it was yesterday. We have lasting memories of those days. It's nice to remember a time when like the Derby it was free and so enjoyable. Something to look forward to. I loved those days.

My Favorite Music:

I live and breathe music. Not a day in my life have I ever missed some kind of music. Singing along and remembering the old days. My selection includes very kind of music there is, I love almost everything. I love 50 Cent, Pink, Floyd Cramer, opera, country. Music keeps me sane.

My Favorite TV Shows:

Jon and Kate Plus 8. The History channel, True TV, Animal Planet.

Something nobody knows about me:

I spent a lot of time in my room upstairs looking out my window, I cried and wished by the hour that I would find someone to take me away from the life I had. I would wish so hard that I would fall into a very deep sleep. When I would wake up I was so unhappy that I wanted to go back to sleep. I pretty much know that I missed the boat a long time ago and I need and interest that I could really enjoy.
