Let me back up....you may or may not remember me, but I skated with Sheila and Gina at Santa Ana in the 70s.
My dad volunteers his time at a local place that gives out food to homeless people. One of the ladies there was talking to him, yesterday, about how she skated roller derby way back when...he thinks she's in her 80s...he was telling her how I speed skated...this got them talking...Ralphie's name came up....she told my dad he had passed on, and you too had passed on in freak accident...drowning in a pool after a back surgery. So, when he told me about it, I googled yours and Ralphie's names. I came across Ralphies Memorial page, but could find nothing on you either way...so, I decided to ask to find out if it was a rumor.
I'm glad to know it's not.
