Hi Barry,

I took care of Danny Riley in 1988 after he broke his neck in a car wreck. Very nice guy. He referred to Bill Griffiths as his "Boss" and wanted so bad to skate again. I may be wrong but I thought the higher ups may have taken advantage of him. When I met him he was probably at his highest weight. All of the nurses came into the ICU to meet him after I told them who he was (he went by a different last name). I recall saying to him "Mr. Carroll, did anyone ever tell you look like Danny Reilly". He said "I am Danny Reilly". We talked about all the skaters and I asked him who he thought was the greatest women skater? His reply to my absolute delight was "Judy Arnold, by far".
Anyhow, I think the Bucks had a very good team. I got a few of their gazettes but really feel Gwen should have been captain. Quick question? Was Sherry Jakowski and Sherry Jackson the same person?

It is true the Cats uniforms went to the Bay Bombers. The Bucks and Cats had at least one thing in common...Peggy Fowler!

Hey Berry - me too! But i came to find out that the style was originally Derby! I always that it originated in Roller Games. Is that your collection of jerseys? Do you have Derby jerseys too?

Great jersey's, especially the Tri-City (Cleveland/Detroit/Toledo) Bucks. Is that an original? Coach Danny Reilly wore #6, as did captain Peggy Fowler. The Devils went from Detroit Devils to Brooklyn Devils during this time even when they played the Warriors and Cats. When the Bucks folded, Devils went back to being Detroit Devils. I think the Bucks were a red shirt team for a while known as the Boston Bucks. Thanks for sharing
