Does anyone have some videos from the Las Vegas games from the 1980s with me in them? 'Elizabeth Johnson' - I skated for The Devils, the Hawks, the Outlaws and the Bombers and have only photos - not a single video from those days. I also did the Canadian tour and never even saw the footage from those games. LOL! It's time to drag this skeleton out of the closet.

Started watching Roller Derby probably 1979 when I was 11. Since the first time I watched,I was hooked. My dad would take me to the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento to watch the Bay Bombers. My favorite was Bill Groll and my dad's was Alfonso Reyes. I knew that when the Jolters were coming to town,Bill and Alfonso would be going at it. Those 7 or 8 years when we went were the best years of my youth. I just wish I found Roller Derby earlier,as I could have seen Charlie O. Luckily for the internet, I can watch him and all the greats. And if Alfonso reads this, thank you for the great moments when you skated against the Bombers. You always knew how to irritate the fans.

Started watching Roller Derby back in the early 60s, the old San Francisco Bay Bomber games from Kezar Pavilion with their classic rivals such as Northeast Braves, Northwest Cardinals, Midwest Pioneers and Southern Mustangs. Lived in NYC back then and in early 70s found Philadelphia Warrior games on a UHF channel! At that same time New York Chiefs franchise was established and managed to attend almost every game at Madison Square Garden, Nassau Coliseum and Commack Arena. Flew to San Francisco in summer of '73 and caught only live game at Kezar. Moved to Southern California in '74 and religiously attended games at Olympic Auditorium for the next decade. Watched Roller Jam when that was around too. Now occasionally catch a T-Bird game at Pomona Fairplex, not to mention the L.A. Derby Dolls. All-time favorite skaters include Charlie O'Connell, Mike Gammon, Ronnie Rains, Harold Jackson, Richard Brown, Jim Terrigno, Larry Lewis, Carolyn Moreland, Patsy Delgado, Weston & Calvello, Judi McGuire, Jennifer Marshall, Vickie McEwen and Francine Cochu.

I am a native of Baltimore and I grew up on The Roller Games of the Week where the Warriors were the team in the area then came the Cat's. Thats when roller derby was the best. People like Miss Ruberta Mitchell, Sonja Simms, Yolanda Trovino, Gwen Miller, Lynn Congleton, Vinnie Gondolfo, Little Richard Brown, Erwin Miller, Ottis Williams, the great Big Jim Trotter Buddy Attkinson, Miss Judy Aronald and moore. Where are the videos of some of those games. Bob Mayo was the anouncer. Please find those videos and let me know how I can purchace them. Now they were classics, not only the T-Birds.
