Speaking of ol' Vinnie Mac, he had numerous opportunities to buy what was left of the IRSL back around '88 or so, but did not, although he did bring in David Lipschultz to handle front office rep duties in the Bay Area eventually. I agree with Tio re ECW being a mere shadow of it's former self, but I also feel TNA made a huge mistake leaving the NWA, a move that was bad in the long run for WCW. The NWA and TNA need each other in order to put a serious dent in WWE's market share, whether they realize it or not! I wonder if what's left of the LeBell & Shire families might want to make Bill Sr. an offer?
