I'm rather partial to Frankie Macedo myself. I've never had the pleasure of watching video of him in action. From a page I've found on the web, he was being fairly humble when I met him, kind of summing up his career with "Oh, I used to skate a few years in Canada." And then I googled him up. Wow! He's in just about every third video they have for sale. Including some where he skated for the T-Birds. Mostly in the 80s, I gather.

Frankie's going to be a guest of honor at our league's bout next weekend. In fact, he'll be singing a few songs by another legendary Vegas guy with the same first name. I suspect our dueling Elvii will pale in comparison. He can hip-check 'em into the boards (inline hockey rink).

He's a super nice guy, as well. Of course, we don't exactly have a shortage of friendly old-school derby types here. Loretta has been a great friend of the league since day one. Georgia Hase stopped by tonight and didn't slug anyone. *~[;-{p> One of these days I hope we can get a former T-Bird that's now a judge to come to one of the bouts.

On the mens it would have to be Ralphie. Wish he was still with us today. On the womens I would have to say electric randi Whitman for back then. Today I would have to say Lyle Glazer. I liked her back in RNR rollergames on Bad atitude. I still like her today. So if Bad atitude was to reform. she should be on it.

Hi Father James,well as always we are on the same page because Randi and Ralphie were two of my favorites as well.As for Lyle Glazer I should have put her on their as well since she was on a t-bird team in the 80s and i see she is now on the current team.In closing i want to say i have been on this site for only a few days and their are so many great fans and players on this site like you ,Grand Pubbah,Bill Nagy and Stacy Blitsch to name a few.It is so nice to meet such nice people like yourself

I remember i joined a roller derby site once a long time ago and after awile no one was on it .This site i like because so many peopleare so nice and their are not just fans but former players as well and they seem so nice.take care

Very true. I am glad this site became very active. And most of all making friends with the very same people I cheered on. And hoping to some day get a chance to skate with them. Whether it's on the track or simply a friendly get together. I know eventually i will get to the rollercon.

Hey Jim, I'm that big a fan anymore. Actually I'm becoming less interested in rollergames everyday! I'm devoting most of my time now to beauty pagaents and dog shows. They are much more entertaining!
