Hi Steven,

Those too are good memories. I was watching the Hot Flash bad Sttitude game just last week and I still smile at the part where Jerry takes the "Subway" under the Monster Man.

I would've loved to have seen the T-Birds and the Rockers in a game and of course Ralphie's match race and also the Rookie of the Year Award. That would've been awesome! =-)

Most of all I would've loved to have seen a tour with a stop in Boston, so I could've cheered everyone on and gotten autographs. =) Thatw ould'e been so cool.

My most memorable was when the Roller Games to my home town of Newcastle, NSW, Australia. I was just a kid and my father took me to see the T-Birds skate against the New York Bombers. I saw some of the greats that night, Ralphie Valladares, Ann Calvello, Ronnie Rains, Leroy Gonzales, Mannie Servin, Nick Scopas, BJ Peterson, Jan Vallow and many more. I found some old photos in and old newpaper about the game not long ago. Magic memories for me.

My other most memorable part of Roller Games is The Ice Box(Robert Smith)throwing Mr.Mean (Harold Jackson)into The Allgator Pit.also my most other memorbale moments of rollergames are: The All-Star Game which features The Western Alliance/Eastern Empire match in which The Western Alliance defeated the Eastern Empire. The Thunderbird Twins Jennifer & Kristine leaving but also quitting both the Violators & the Maniacs. The IceMan,s mastery of both the jet jump & the Wall of death.Hot-Flash finding a way to defeat Bad Attitude & win the Match.also The Ice Box,s mastery of both the jet jump & the wall of death.also i agreed with you Amy i too would've loved to have seen The T-Birds & Bad Attitude in not only a game but also in a rematch with The Ice Box Getting his revenge on The Monster Man(Berine Jackson)With the Help of The IceMan(Harold Cladwell).and of course The Rockers & The Maniacs in a rematch in Which The Rockers would not only use Their strenghts and their teamwork to expoilt the Maniacs Weakness but also defeat them.and a T-Birds & Rockers game and of course Ralphie,s Match Race against Mizz Hase & Guru Drew and also the Rookie of the Year Award that would have been excellent. also most of all i would,ve seen a Hot-Flash/Bad Attitude rematch.in Which The Hot-Flash screw Bad Attitude out of a win again With help from The Ice Box,that would've been remarkable and quite true Father James if it weren,t for the backer going bankrupt RollerGames would have still be on the air.

Lots of great memories: The continuous six-pointers on the Wall Of Death by Matt Bickham (T-Birds), the neck-to-neck jam between Ray Robles (Rockers) and Little Richard Brown (Maniacs), culminating in a fist-fight which sends them both to the penalty pod, and of course, lovely Dar The Star (Rockers).

I remember already being a Roller Derby fan in the late 60's and early 70's and one Saturday morning discovering Roller Game of the Week with Elmer Anderson. Loved the Warrior games with Lena McBride, Otis Williams, Sally Vega, Judy Arnold, Yvonne Riggins, Bessie Gonzales, Al Candolero, Jim Trotter...it was two hours of pure bliss. Great villain teams with Reilly's Renegades and the NY Bombers with Ronnie Rains and Judy Sowinski. Those games in Phillie were legendary!

I posted videos of the phili warriors that you might enjoy over at youtube. The footage was taken by a home camera rather from tv, hence the bad video quality
